Elizabeth Okokwa joined Damien Foundation (DFB) in November 2012 and is currently the Office Manager Damien Foundation (DFB) Lagos. With years of administrative and management experience, Elizabeth rose through the ranks to her current position.
She holds 2 Bachelor’s degree from European American University on Strategic Management and Estam-Formation University on Human Resource and Mobility. She also holds a professional diploma in Leadership and Management from Shaw Academy, a diploma in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University and some online certification from John Hopkins University. She was trained in strategic thinking and management at Strategic Business School and is a Certified Strategist. She is a member of a professional body Chartered Institute of Strategic Managers and Leaders (LLC).
Elizabeth is pivotal in making sure the DFB office runs smoothly, and that members of the team have a happy and productive environment to work in. Beyond her daily work routine, Elizabeth supports research and learning on inspirational leadership, mentorship, talent development, collaboration, change and adaptability, strategic thinking, innovation, and creativity, amongst others.
Olalekan Onitiju is a hardworking, diligent, team player who is experienced in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of Health and Socio programs management, data analysis, development and utilization of protocols for Quantitative/Qualitative Research, Logistic Supply Chain Management and Strategic Information Management System. He has adequate training and experience in human population data management in addition to his educational background as a Demography and Social Statistician. He has also been involved in the customization and deploying M&E tools to monitor and evaluate program intervention growth and impact (PM&E, FGD, KII). He has a Vast knowledge in using of statistical package such as SPSS, Stata, Ep Data, CSPro, File Maker Pro, Excel to mention a few. He is currently an M&E officer at Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB) Nigeria Project.
Olabode is the Damien Foundation Nigeria Senior Accountant. He has been with the organization since March 2012.
Olabode holds OND and HND in Accountancy and other certifications in Teller Operations (2004), Advance Microsoft Excel (2015) and Advance Quick Book (2015). He has several years of experience in the banking industry as Funds Transfer Officer, Customer Service Officer and Bulk Teller/Cashier.
Olabode possesses a wide range of skills such as Organization & Leadership Skills, excellent management skills, ability to deliver before deadline and high level of computer skills.
Adepoju Feyisayo has MPH in Population and Reproductive Health Nutrition, B. Sc. Physiology from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
Adepoju Feyisayo has been involved in several voluntary to humanity. She was a part-time lecturer at the College of Health Sciences and Technology(2009 – 2001), Lecturer – College of Health Technology (2008 -2009) and a Laboratory Personnel at the University Teaching Hospital , Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. She is also a member of the Nigeria Red Cross and the Nutrition Society of Nigeria.
Oluwatosin Odeleke is a versatile, energetic and resourceful individual with professional ability. She worked with CNBC Africa, VI, Lagos for a period of six months in capacity as Accounting Intern where she handled activities such as: review of all purchase orders to ensure conformity with stated requirements before disbursement or execution of transaction; ensuring deductions and prompt remittance of various statutory deductions i.e. VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension; maintaining fixed asset schedule; reconciliation of key accounts such as bank accounts, debtors accounts and creditors accounts; ensuring prompt billing by preparing invoices of fees collectible from customers. She joined Damien Foundation in 2019 as an Accountant providing accounting services.
She holds B.sc in Accounting from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State. She has also obtained her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
She passed the qualifying examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in the year 2018 and awaits induction into the membership of the institute.
Currently, she is a student member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
Toluwanimi Popoola is a skilled and hardworking Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. She has BSc in physiology from the University of Ilorin and MPH in field Epidemiology from the University of Ibadan. Not only this, she has also been trained in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and qualitative research methods from the University of Antwerp. Toluwanimi is a member of the International Epidemiology Association and her areas of interest includes Monitoring and Evaluation, research and data Management. She is currently an M&E officer at Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB) Nigeria Project.
He is the Data Manager of DFB, Nigeria since April, 2019. He is focused on his diligence and skills to achieving organizational objectives where hard work is known and opportunities exist for growth of personal development.
Gbemi John Kehinde has B.Sc in Biochemistry from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria.
He worked for a short time in Chemical Pathology Department, 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna, Nigeria.
He has been well involved in so many voluntary services (public health).
He volunteered to work for some years with Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Unit, Ministry of Health, Ibadan, Nigeria.
He was part of the NTBLCP team that evaluated the contribution of private health facilities in TB case notification, Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria. He also worked for USAID funded TB Surveillance Project, Oyo state, as TB Surveillance Assistant Officer.
He is also the Data Manager for Diagnosis of Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis in Africa (DIAMA), Nigeria.

He is a member of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA, 2008), member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN, 2008), member of the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (The Union, 2015), member of the America Thoracic Society (ATS, 2015).
Dr. Bakare Adebayo M. has Masters in Public Health (MPH) University of Roehampton, London Online (in view) and other personal development online certification from University of Virginia, IE Business School Madrid (COURSERA), University of Edinburg UK, Saylor.Org Online Education, Knowledge for Health (K4HEALTH), USAID Global Health E-Learning Centre (USAID Bureau of Global Health Foundation of Business Strategy University, Lagos State University College of Medicine (M.B.B.S 2007), Kwara State Polytechnic (I.J.M.B A Level 1998). He has also undergone several professional training and has a vast working experience.
Dr Adekunle A.A
Meet Dr Adekola Adekunle a Medical Adviser in the organization. He joined the organization since 2013 as a Medical Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and rose to become a Senior Medical Monitoring and Evaluation Officer before his appointment as a Medical Adviser in the Organization. He is a focused and highly motivated medical doctor with medical, public health policy, financial and management experience, desirous of pursuing an active role in the global arena. His top priority is active involvement in a dynamic organization offering challenging and career advancement through his key strength. These are good public health practice, team building, honesty and an ability to work under pressure with a great potential for leadership.
He has a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Social Work (health care option) and has MPH degree (Master of Public Health in epidemiology and Disease Control).

He has vast experience in community TB case finding and management and he is also experienced in Team-Oriented Public Awareness and Enlightenment on Drug Abuse and its Effect, he has supervised Community Based Programme on Discouraging Teenage Pregnancy and Promoting Tertiary Education amongst others.
He is a regular guest in National and Local Media organisations where he promotes good public health knowledge, awareness and practices in Tuberculosis and Leprosy in English and Yoruba Languages.
He has a vast experience in public health practice and especially in clinical and programmatic management and control of multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, tuberculosis, TB/HIV and Leprosy.

Dr Dairo O.G
Dr Olopade Dairo Gbolahan is the DFB Nigeria Senior Medical Advisor since January 2011. He has Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery - University of Ibadan (1986), TB and Leprosy Control Management Course – ALERT Addis Ababa, M & E Training – TB and Leprosy Training School Zaria (2010) amongst other certification.
Dr Olopade Dairo Gbolahan has facilitated Seminars, Workshops, Trainings and Meetings on TB, TB/HIV and DR TB sponsored by Global Fund, USAID, ILEP, WHO and NTBLCP. He has also participated in workshops and seminars in Lille - France, Brussels – Belgium amongst other.
Dr Olopade Dairo Gbolahan boasts of enormous experience of over 27 years as a medical practitioner. He has Medical Officer in charge of Primary Health Centre Fiditi and Iroko Nigeria (1989 to 1991), Senior Medical Officer – State Hospital Iwo (1991 – 2001), Head of Ila Zonal Hospitals Management Board (2001 – 2004), Principal Medical Officer – State Hospital Ikirun (2004 - 2008), M&E Officer Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme, Ministry of Health, Osun State, Nigeria to mention a few.
Kehinde Aladejuyigbe: Is an optimistic fellow that believes in possibilities and good deeds. She does not take no for an answer which has been a major force that drives her to her goal. As a promising young lady, She cares a lot about what she does and how the society sees her. She is currently a finance assistant at Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB) Nigeria Project.
Oluyemi Victor Taiwo is currently a Finance Manager at Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB) on the PPM/ Global Fund Grant in Ibadan, Oyo State since July 1 2019. With over 18 years of professional accounting and auditing experience, Oluyemi Victor has developed a high level of proficiency in all aspects of management accounting, as well as general accounting knowledge and expertise. He has hands-on knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, project management, Compliance, assurance and performance management, financial accounting and product/divisional profitability analysis
He Obtained a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (1999). He is an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria – ICAN (2008) He’s a student member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - CIMA.
Oluyemi Victor Taiwo has previously worked with the following organisations: German Leprosy & Relief Association (GLRA), National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP), Global Fund Fiscal Agent, Pathfinder International, Abt Associates (PATHS2 Project) Teelad Invesment Limited, ATC Professional Services (Audit) etc. He has a strong ability to lead teams as well as highly developed skills in detail analysis and problem-solving, and very keen to make the most use of these abilities in the Management Accounting and compliance roles of any organization he finds himself.
Operations & HR Manager
Ivy Owusu-Amoakohene started at Damien Foundation in 2003 and worked between 2003-2005 as a secretary. She became the Office Manager in 2006 and currently holds the position of Operations and Human Resource Manager. She attended Royal Society Academy (RSA) with advance diploma in Administration. She also has various certificate from John Hopkins University on global health.
She provides the link between strategic management and operations of Damien Foundation Nigeria programs and projects. She coordinates the administrative arm of the foundation and ensures logistical requirements of various departments are met.
She has attended and provided facilitation for hosts of DFB training sessions, meetings and symposiums in a number of states in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
She has over a decade experience and specialties in operations, human resource management and administration.
Dr Fadeyi M.O
Dr Fadeyi Muse Olatunbosun is Damien Foundation Belgium (Nigeria Project) Medical Coordinator/Global fund PPM grant Programme Manager. Joined Damien Foundation in September 2016 as Medical Advisor on the Global fund Drug resistance Tuberculosis DR TB/IHVN grant.
Dr Fadeyi Muse Olatunbosun had his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B.) and later had a postgraduate Medical training in Family Medicine at the West African Postgraduate Medical College. He had M.Sc. distinction in Infection and Immunity from the prestigious University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He also attended the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp, Belgium for a short course in Clinical decision making in drug resistance tuberculosis. He is also an alumni of University of Washington where he had certificate in both Leadership and Management in Health and Project Management in Global Health
Dr Fadeyi Muse Olatunbosun is a seasoned infectious diseases expert with vast experience in both clinical and programmatic Management of TB & Drug resistance Tuberculosis. A member of the Nigerian Medical Association, American Public Health Association and West African College of Physician. He had abstract presentation in National and International Conferences and also articles published in International Journals.
Deborah is currently an Accountant at Damien Foundation Nigeria project. She graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State with a Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance.
Deborah is diligent, result driven and passionate about her work with the foundation, she started her career as an administrative and Finance assistant before progressing to her present role.
She is very conversant with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. She is exploring the field of financial modeling for better financial decision making.
Akinkunmi Idris is a skilled human resources personnel, peer educator and a know-how individual in prioritizing and completing tasks independently driven to help organization thrive with technologically savvy.
Over the years he has worked with both international and local NGOs as a volunteer on different projects like; Adolescents and Reproductive Health systems, HIV prevention Projects, Orphan and Vulnerable Children care projects (OVC) with NACA ( National Action Committee on Aids), APIN (Aids Prevention Initiative in Nigeria), not excluding CBO and FBOs on community awareness campaign on health related issues.
Idris, as he is fondly called among DFB staff graduated from OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERISTY with Bsc Business Administration. He is also an associate member of Chartered Institute of Strategic Management, member of Chartered Institute of Project Management, with other professional certifications in his experience.
Aanuoluwapo Fatola joined Damien Foundation in March 2017 and was responsible for the immediate set-up of the communication Department. He collaborates with international media partners in various documentary production on the works of Damien Foundation in Nigeria and has also contributed to several online and print publications.
Aanuoluwapo started his professional career with the Nigerian German Business Association (now Nigerian-German Chamber of Commerce) in 2015, where he worked as a researcher, administrative officer and an assistant to the Trade-Fair Manager. In his role as the assistant to the Trade-Fair Manager, he organized participation of the chamber’s members in local and international trade-fairs. He was also responsible for the regular update of website and the designing of the bi-monthly newsletter.
He holds a bachelors degree (B.A German) and is currently enrolling for a Masters degree program in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. As a students’ leader, Aanuoluwapo was distinguished for his style of leadership
Jimoh is a young, intelligent and IFRS compliant Finance and Audit professional with over 10 years hand on experience. He worked for over three years with Ijebor + Ijebor Chartered Accountants in capacity as Assistant Audit Manager where he was a team leader on various statutory Audit assurance and financial advisory services to public and private corporate entities
Prior to joining Damien Foundation, he served for over four years in capacities of Acting Head and Team Lead, Internal Audit & Control of The GIG Group Limited where he closely monitors and carry out all financial, operational and compliance audits of all strategic business units of the group and subsidiaries. He also served on secondment basis as the Head, Finance and Accounts of Deltaline Transport Services Limited (DTSL) in Asaba, Delta State when GIG Transport Development Company acquired controlling interests in DTSL in 2018.
He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and holds a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc in Accounting with second class upper) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago – Iwoye, Ogun State and is currently pursuing his Master of Science (M. Jumoke Dairo is an enthusiastic graduate of accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University that loves reading, playing scrabble and gisting. She values efficiency and building a good interpersonal relationship with people, especially her team mates. She is currently an accountant at Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB) Nigeria Project.
Software Developer / It Consultant
Meet full stack developer, Yinka Ashafa. Yinka joined Damien Foundation (DFB) Nigeria, February 2019 and brings a little less than a decade years of technical prowess and estimable project delivery to the leadership of DFB Nigeria's software development teams (single-handedly started the IT Department which has grown to a 5-member team).
Driven by hard challenges and a desire to make the world better, Yinka is an active member of the Ruby Malaysia programming community, often hosting meet-ups and contributing to open source. Always leading by example, with an emphasis on quality and relevancy. Specializes in using Ruby and Python (Programming Languages) for building applications.
Yinka has created multiple web apps starting with requirements gathering, designing, developing, refactoring, and code implementation.
Dr Osman El-Tayeb
Dr Osman El-Tayeb is the Country Representative of Damien Foundation, Nigeria Project.
He is an astute expert in Health Management with over 29 years of professional experience, 14 years as a clinician with managerial responsibilities in Health Care Facilities and 15 years as a manager of TB Health projects.
Dr Osman is WHO (GLC) Consultant for the AFRO Region and Eastern Mediterranean Region and for Programmatic Management of DR-TB (PMDT). He held managerial and advisory positions in International TB projects in Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Denmark, the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, Nigeria e.t.c.
